Junior New Members

SMRC welcomes new juniors to contact us if you would like to try rowing. At various times during the year we run learn-to-row camps for 12+ years of age (changed from 14+). Rowing is a physically and technically demanding sport that requires confidence and competence on the water. We offer a 12 week trial membership for all new juniors.

If you or your child wishes to join St. Michael's Rowing Club, email us at smrc_newmembers@hotmail.com with the following information:

1. Name
2. Date of birth
3. Confirmation that they can swim 50m
4. Are they on medication? If you have any injuries or medical issues, please contact your GP first.
5. Please supply a Parent’s mobile number and email address for texts & emails regarding information, training times and emergencies.

Adult New Members

Adult rowing camps are run throughout the year for non-rowers and are designed to introduce you to rowing. We run two levels after which you may decide to join the club.

If you would like to learn to row, please email the captain with the following information:

Experienced Rowers

Experienced rowers that wish to join for the purposes of competing in national events,
