Answer : Yes.
Question 2 : What
time does the 10k and 5k Start?
Answer : 10k starts @ 1.00 pm and 5k starts @ 1.10 pm
Question 3 : Where
does my timing chip go?
Answer : It's incorporated into the race number.
Question 4 : Are
both distances chipped?
Answer : Yes. This year, all race entrants will be chip timed..
Question 5 : Where
is the Start Line?
Answer : 10k - On O'Callaghan Strand, near The Strand Hotel at 13:00,
and 5k at the SMRC gates at 13:10
Question 6 : Where
is the Finish Line?
Answer : Outside the clubhouse on O'Callaghan Strand.
Question 7 : Can
I pay by credit/debit card on the day?
Answer : No. Unfortunately, there is no card facility available at the
club.
Question 8 : Where
can I leave my personal belongings during Race?
Answer : It can be left in our secure Cloakroom facility in clubhouse.
Question 9 : Can
I buy a Tee Shirt on the day of the race?
Answer : No, we are supplying reusable drink bottles this year; these
will be handed out at the finish line

can I park my car?
Answer : Public Car Parks within walking distance include:

I bring a dog/pram/bicycle?
Answer : Prams are allowed, but not dogs or bicycles. (Guide dogs excepted)
Question 12 : Are
entrants allowed to use rollerblades?
Answer : Health & Safety regulations prohibits the use of rollerblades/skates.
Question 13 : Will
there be Emergency Services available?
Answer : Yes, there will be an Ambulance on site.
Question 14 : Will
there be road closures?
Answer : Yes, at the junction of Sarsfield Bridge/O'Callaghan Strand.

will be signed at registration for the event, please review before entering:
I understand that I must be over 18 on the day of the race in order
to run the 10K (a 5k route is available for those under 18). I understand
that I enter the St. Michaels Rowing Club 10k Urban Run & 5k Fun
Run/Walk at my own risk and that neither St. Michaels Rowing Club, or
any of its members, servants or agents, any sponsors, associate sponsors,
or patrons, will be held responsible for any accident suffered or injury
sustained by myself from any cause whatsoever, or for any property lost,
damaged, mislaid or stolen, on the course, from my person or at the
changing areas or at any place.
Furthermore, I hereby grant full permission to any of the foregoing
to use photographs, films or recordings of the event for any legitimate
purpose without payment of any royalty or fees to me.
I agree to abide by all lawful instructions issued to me by An Garda
Siochana or the stewards on the Course on the day.
I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous,
and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able
and properly trained.
In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and
complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while
I am travelling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am
on the premises of the event.
I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating
in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other
participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road.
I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and
forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters, representatives,
successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event,
for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have
against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation
in this event.
All entries are final and no refunds will be made. Your absolute co-operation
is required. Anyone who does not obey the Stewards will be immediately
disqualified and will no longer be considered part of the race. If for
some unforeseen reason the race cannot be held on the appointed day,
the race will be re-scheduled.
