Congratulations to our superstar Shane Rafferty & his doubles partner Zach Meegan Athlone Boat Club on the G O L D Medals in the M2x- at the Coupe Regatta today.

They placed 2nd in their heat to qualify along with Belgium this morning. They were the fastest crew off the start of the final & led the race through 500m.

They slipped into 3rd place coming through the 1000m but a fantastic 2nd half saw them take and hold the lead to the line for the win

Well done Shane & Zach – a brilliant result & the entire club are very proud of you both.
