Hi all, and we welcome you to our October Head of the River in O’Briensbridge, Co. Clare.
This page will be updated frequently as new details become available.

Road Traffic Guidelines:
Only towing vehicle will be allowed access to the regatta field. Limited parking is available in the field on the lane and also in a new field nearer the village at V94 TP94. Please follow directions from the Parking Marshalls, and respect our neighbours in the village of O’Briensbridge. This is very important, Gardaí are aware and kindly supportive of our event and may fine unhelpful drivers, and obstructing vehicles may be towed. All parking info is here.

Launching:
For our rolling head the slip will open at 08:30 and close at 15:00. Crews may launch at any time during this open period. Please ensure all crews have their correct bow number. Wrong, repeated or no number means no timing.

Water Circulation Patterns:
The circulation pattern can be found on the Rowing Ireland Events page. Please follow directions from Water Marshalls when on the water.

Catering:
Ivan’s Tuck Shop will be open all day offering tasty and healthy hot & cold food & drinks. See the menu here
