SMRC takes WEHoRR by storm!

SMRC came out in full force on the Tideway on Saturday 14th March. The women’s squad had 3 eights racing, the first time SMRC has ever even attended the event (trailblazers!) 

A fantastic well done goes out to our Senior Women (bow 99) for setting the fastest time for Overseas 8s on the day, in a blistering 20:01.2, a full minute ahead of 2nd place! 

Well done also goes out to our second Senior Women’s boat (bow 102) and our Junior Women (bow 301) for taking the Tideway in their stride!

💛 Bow 301 – 14th in Schools Category – 97th Overall

💜 Bow 102 – 4th in Overseas Category – 178th Overall

What a day and what a club, we can’t wait to see what else our Women’s Squad get up to this season!
