2022 Champions of Ireland

Championship News – Captain’s report

A great weekend!
We entered 9 championship events: (2 wins, 5 second placed finishes). 

Irish champions in Mens J18 pair and Mens J18 quad.
Mens squad also second in MJ18 scull, MJ18 2x- and Mens Club 1x.

Girls squad came second in Woman’s J18 eight and second in Women’s J18 quad. They also had a 5th place in the J18 pair. 

Womens Inter sculler placed 7th in time trial so missed the final by one place. 

In J16, non-champ events, we had 2nd in the boys J16 8, 3rd in the boys J16 quad and 4th in the girls j16 8. 

A few other crews also competed well and narrowly missed out on their finals.

A big thanks to all the rowers, coaches, trailer towers, and all who helped throughout the year.
